Aldwyck Housing Group today announced that Group Chief Executive, Ian McDermott will be leaving the organisation at the end of December, to take up the position of Chief Executive at Catalyst Housing.
Ian, who joined the Group in October 2016, said “I have very much enjoyed my time at Aldwyck Housing Group and I am proud of the achievements of the team. We have the firm foundations and a plan in place to continue to grow, build more new homes and provide even better services to our customers, and I am confident that Aldwyck will continue to go from strength to strength.”
Pat Billingham, Aldwyck Group Chair said “I would like to thank Ian for his strong leadership over the past two years and on behalf of the Group Board wish him well in his future career. During Ian’s time with us we have become a G1 organisation, completed a successful merger with King Street Housing, and raised funding by successfully entering the private bond market. We are building more new homes, continuing to improve our customer satisfaction scores and have ambitious plans for the future. The Group Board will now start the process to appoint Ian’s successor”.
